John Kallen

John is a composer, sound designer, and engineer from Detroit, MI.

He began playing drums when he was just two years old and ever since, music has been a central part of John's life. He graduated from NYU's Music Technology Department with a focus in electronics, audio for video, and analog synthesis. John has composed music for Primetime documentaries such as WNET's "Startup America" and NBCSN's "The Last Gold". John recently scored the music for 40 radio PSAs. It is good to have a composer that also is an engineer. In his spare time John enjoys soldering, reading audio manuals, and taking care of his cat.
